Introduction to the programme
A master’s in physics is the highest level of graduate coursework and can be obtained after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Computer Sciences, or a Bachelor of Engineering programme. Earning a master’s in physics at SRM University, Andhra Pradesh, requires two years of full-time study, which amounts to 80 credits with a span of 4 semesters programme.
The MSc Physics programme combines basic and advanced courses, theory and laboratory, seminars and focused on research projects and internships. The assessment is through continuous learning assessment format, written exam, Viva, and MSc Project dissertation.
The programme provides a rigorous grounding across the disciplines underlying quantum technologies and condensed matter physics.
